Areas We Support

Every child is unique, and we tailor therapy to meet their individual strengths and needs. Here are some of the ways we support communication and feeding development:

Communication Support

Articulation Disorders
We help your child learn to say sounds clearly so they can be better understood by others. Therapy focuses on practicing sounds in a fun, supportive way and building confidence when speaking.

Phonological Processing Disorders
We work on patterns of speech errors so your child’s words sound clearer and more accurate. Your child will learn how to organize sounds in words so they can be better understood in everyday conversations.

Childhood Apraxia of Speech
We help your child learn how to plan and coordinate the movements needed for speech. Therapy includes lots of repetition and support to help them say words more clearly and consistently.

Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders
We support proper tongue, lip, and jaw movements for speaking, eating, and breathing. Therapy can help with things like mouth breathing, tongue thrust, and improving overall oral function.

Early Language Delays / Late Talkers
We help your child build their vocabulary and start using more words to communicate. Sessions focus on play-based strategies that encourage talking and help your child express their needs and ideas.

Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
We support children who need other ways to communicate, like speech-generating devices. Our goal is to help your child express themselves clearly and feel successful communicating in daily life.

Gestalt Language Processing
We help children who learn language in chunks or phrases break them down into meaningful, flexible speech. Therapy supports turning memorized phrases into more natural, independent communication.

Self-Advocacy

We help your child express their needs, wants, and feelings in ways that feel clear and empowering, supporting independence at home, school, and in social settings.

Neurodivergent Communication Style
We support your child’s unique way of communicating while helping them connect with others. Therapy focuses on understanding, flexibility, and building meaningful interactions without changing who they are.

Feeding Support

Bottle Feeding
We help babies who have difficulty feeding from a bottle by improving their strength, coordination, and comfort. Our goal is to make feeding easier and more enjoyable for both you and your baby.

Transitioning to Solids
We guide your child as they learn to safely and confidently eat solid foods. Therapy focuses on building oral skills and reducing stress around trying new textures.

Enjoying a Variety of Foods
We help picky eaters feel more comfortable exploring new foods in a low-pressure way. Sessions focus on building positive experiences with food and expanding what your child is willing to eat.

Tube Weaning
We support children in safely transitioning from tube feeding to eating by mouth. Therapy is gentle and gradual, helping your child build the skills and confidence needed for feeding independence.

Common Questions From Parents

Is an evaluation necessary?

An evaluation is an important first step in understanding your child’s unique strengths and needs. It allows us to create a clear, personalized plan so therapy can be as effective as possible from the start.

If you already have a recent evaluation that reflects your child’s current needs, we’re happy to review it and move forward with therapy.

What can I expect at the evaluation?

Evaluations typically last about 60 minutes and are designed to feel supportive and engaging for your child.

You’ll complete a questionnaire ahead of time so we can prepare, and the evaluation may include a caregiver interview, play-based observation, and some structured activities. Afterward, you’ll receive a detailed report with recommendations and next steps.

Where do you provide therapy?

We provide therapy in your home, daycare, and private or alternative school settings.

Due to local regulations, we are not able to provide services within public school buildings. However, we’re happy to collaborate with your child’s school team when appropriate.

Do you offer clinic-based sessions?

Most of our services are provided in your child’s natural environment, such as your home, daycare, or school.

A limited number of clinic-based sessions may be available depending on the therapist. Please reach out to learn more about current availability.

How long will my child need speech therapy?

The length of therapy varies for every child and depends on their needs, goals, and response to therapy.

Factors like consistency, family involvement, and the type of support needed all play a role. Our goal is always to help your child make meaningful progress as efficiently as possible.

How long and how frequent are speech therapy sessions?

Most sessions are 30 minutes, which is typically the ideal length for maintaining attention and engagement.

Sessions are usually scheduled one to three times per week, depending on your child’s needs and your goals for progress.

What are the benefits of having speech therapy in my home or child’s school?

Therapy in a familiar environment often helps children feel more comfortable and engaged.

It also allows us to work on communication and feeding skills during real-life routines, which can lead to faster and more meaningful progress.

How will I know what you worked on if you see my child at their school?

We believe in strong family communication, even when you can’t attend sessions.

You’ll have access to your child's session notes through our patient portal that includes what we worked on, how your child did, and ideas for supporting progress at home.

What can I do to make sure my child’s speech therapy is successful?

Family involvement makes a big difference in progress.

We encourage you to participate when possible, ask questions, and use simple strategies between sessions so you feel confident supporting your child’s growth.

How much does speech therapy cost?

Speech therapy is an investment in your child’s development, and we are committed to providing high-quality, effective care.

Because every child’s needs are different, pricing can vary. We’re happy to provide general cost information, and we encourage families to contact their insurance provider for the most accurate estimate of out-of-pocket costs.

How will I be charged for therapy?

Billing depends on whether you are using insurance or private pay.

PRIVATE PAY:

You will securely store a credit card on file when completing your intake paperwork. Your card will be charged weekly after your therapist completes their session notes and an invoice is generated. Superbills are provided monthly if you plan to submit for reimbursement.

INSURANCE:

We will first bill your insurance. Once your claim is processed and we receive your explanation of benefits (EOB), your card will be charged for any remaining balance. Copays, if applicable, are charged at the time of service.

How can I lower my out-of-pocket costs?

If we are out of network with your insurance, your plan may still offer out-of-network benefits that reimburse a portion of services.

We provide a simple guide to help you check your benefits and can offer support if questions come up. Monthly superbills are also provided for reimbursement, and we accept HSA and FSA cards.

What should I expect with insurance billing?

Billing depends on whether you are using insurance or private pay.

Insurance estimates are not always exact, as final costs are determined after claims are processed. We do our best to provide general guidance, but we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly for the most accurate information about your coverage.
